Very nice atmosphere, friendly service and a good selection of food and drinks. We ordered fish and chips. The portions were large and very tasty. The pub wasn't too crowded, so we were able to have a good conversation without having to shout at each other :).

Had a lovely evening during pub-quiz-night. The steak-pie was really good and the staff was lovely.

I love this very old pub which has a lot of historical character and in such a great location of W2. The service was 5* as the barmaid saw that I wasn't well with a bad cough and straightaway served me a glass of tap water to help me. I will be back to this pub as its nice to chill out there over the day time...perhaps, one corner of it could be dedicated to the rich history of Princes Square W2?

Booked at the spare of the moment and what a lovely surprise we had. The food was excellent, a double cheese burger and fries have never tasted so good. The pot of extra burger sauce was a nice touch. My lady enjoyed her chicken and bacon pie as well. Tried the house lager, which was really refreshing with a citrus after taste. If this was my local pub, I would consider myself very lucky. The customer service was second to none

Following an afternoon stroll along the streets of Bayswater, we came across this wonderful pub located in the heart of W2. There were plenty of tables, and Maria, the manager, was very friendly, helpful, and prompt with our drinks and food. The menu choices were excellent. We ordered 2 roast lunches whilst watching the world go by as we enjoyed every single dish was an absolute delight. We will certainly be visiting again. Thank you to the staff at this wonderful public house 5 stars Bravo!!!

Thank you, lovely people at this fine pub, for taking such good care of me three nights in a row this week with excellent food, wine and a cosy atmosphere on my first (solo) visit ever to London! Seriously great fish & chips, among other things.

Great little pub just off the main street in the heart of Notting Hill. Wasn’t too busy in the late afternoon. The staff were friendly and the facilities were clear. Good selection of beer on tap and the food was really good. We had the nacho platter and fish and chips, both were excellent. Will definitely return the next time we’re in London.
